Ron DeSantis, the 44-year-old Florida governor endorsed by Trump, announces his 2024 Presidential bid Wednesday.
The much-anticipated entrance of the Florida leader came after he filed paperwork just hours prior to his scheduled livestream on Twitter with billionaire Elon Musk on Wednesday evening.
Despite standing behind Trump on GOP polls, DeSantis stands strong in the republican interests. In the 2022 Florida re-election run, DeSantis raised more than $200 million, the most funding raised by any governor.
