Nike has officially cut all ties with NBA star Kyrie Irving after suspending contract with the athlete for a month.
In November, Kyrie allegedly posted a film correlating to antisemitic remarks and other discriminatory content on Twitter.
The Brooklyn Nets had also suspended Kyrie's NBA contract after the controversy, along with other partnerships. Nike has also cancelled its launch of the Kyrie 8 basketball shoes, one of Nike's best selling sneakers.
Nike included in a statement that "There is no place for hate speech...and we condemn any form of antisemitism,". Nike also included they they are "Deeply saddened" over the incident.
