As of Tuesday, the world population surpasses 8 billion with India expected to surpass China as the most populated nation in the world within the next year, according to analysts.
The world population has more than tripled since 1950 with higher life expectancy and lower mortality rates, along with many nutritional advancements.
Life expectancy has also increase by nearly ten years from 1990-2020 to 72 years. While in 2021, life expectancy drops by one year due to COVID-19 death and future projections.
India and China hold a total population of around 1.4 billion, while China's population is expected to slump within the next year.
