Twitch public figure Kai Cenat was charged Friday for holding an 'unlawful' public gathering by bribing fans with a giveaway in NYC's Union Square Park.
The Twitch streamer tweeted that there would be a giveaway at the park at 3:30 p.m. NYT, drawing thousands.
The 'gathering' turned into a riot Friday with several injuries reported, as local police tried to tame the 'event'.
Over 60 arrests were made during the incident.
Kai Cenat was taken to custody on Friday.
