Yevgeny Prigozhin, leader and founder of Russian Wagner Group who held an armed rebellion against Moscow, was killed Wednesday in a plane crash that killed 10 near Moscow.
The business class jet was flying from Moscow to St. Petersburg when it went down in the Tver region, according to several outlets.
Biden was asked about the incident, he responded "I don't know for a fact what happened, but I am not surprised.
