On Thursday, Disney announced that they will be discarding their plan to build a $1 billion office complex in Florida, citing a change in "business conditions".
The decision comes after tensions between Disney and Florida Governor DeSantis, who is set to enter the 2024 Republican Presidential race next week.
Disney announced that they will be laying off 7,000 earlier this year.
Disney (DIS) stock gained 1.06% on Thursday at close.
