China To End Quarantines For Inbound Travelers From January 8th Despite Surging Casualties

Beijing has announced, that starting Jan 8th, people arriving in China will no longer be forced to quarantine, though they will have to test negative for Covid-19 within 48 hours of departure.

In the past few months, Covid-19 has gravely impacted China's economy as well as the well-being of the people. China has made it clear that they will do anything necessary to prevent the spread of Covid.

Protests erupted in past months in response to the neglectful Zero-Covid policy by Xi Jinping. People were locked in their apartments by health-workers and forced to take Covid tests in severe weather conditions.

China's Communist party has recently been trying to ease the Zero-Covid policy to get back on the side of the people.
