Narendra Modi Tells Putin That Now Is "Not An Era For War" In A Face-to-Face Conversation

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi appears to have directly speak to Vladimir Putin in a face to face talk.

Mr. Modi reminds the Russian President that this is not the time for war, and reminds him of the importance of democracy and diplomacy.

The comments came from a face-to-face conversation between the two leaders on Friday.

Putin responded, saying "I know your concerns. We want to end all this as soon as possible".

In recent weeks, Russia has lost many of the captured Ukrainian land to strong Ukrainian defense strategies. They have lost over 8000 square kilometers of captured territory in the previous weeks.

China and India are the largest consumers of Russian oil and is expected to change in the near future, according to experts.
