Taiwanese President, Tsai Ing-wen, is expected to meet with Kevin McCarthy in the U.S. in coming weeks. The visit by the Taiwanese president could potentially prevent a trip to Taiwan for McCarthy.
The two are supposedly meeting in California when Tsai Ing-wen makes a visit to Central America in April.
