The social media networking company, Meta, has been caught leaking a user's private messages on illegally getting an abortion, to the police.
Meta has previously stated that they will cover employees travel cost in order to get an abortion in response to the overturning of Roe v. Wade.
The social media giant handed over access of two account belonging to the 17-year-old, named Celeste Burgess and her mother, Jessica Burgess according to court documents.
The teen was planning on taking a series of pills to induce the abortion 23 weeks in to the pregnancy. Nebraska's legal cutoff for abortions is 20 weeks.
