On Friday, Alex Murdaugh was sentenced to life in prison without parole for murdering his wife and son.
Judge Clifton Newman said that Murdaugh's testimony was "not credible, not believable" in a statement.
Despite the pushbacks by the judge, Murdaugh continued to claim that he was innocent, denying killing his wife, Maggie, and his son, Paul.
The trial hearing came on Friday after a swift Jury verdict on Thursday, which was only around 3 hours long.
