After an intense Game 5 against the Miami heat Monday night, the Denver Nuggets manage to hold off the Miami Heat to win the 2023 NBA Finals. The Nuggets ended off Game 5 with a close scoreboard, 94-89, just enough to secure the Nuggets' first championship in NBA history.
NBA finals MVP Nikola Jokic scored 28 points, 16 rebounds, and 4 assists. Jokic's hometown Sombor, Serbia showed relentless support for the NBA champion throughout the series and amassed a great number of spectators.
