The attack which occurred on Friday to Paul Pelosi, was an alleged kidnapping attempt which left the Pelosi family "heartbroken". The suspect has been identified and is charged for an attempted kidnapping and assault.
Paul Pelosi, who has recently faced jail time and probation for DUI has not made an official response to the attack but has expressed heartbreak and trauma from the recent attack.
Former President Donald Trump, has expressed concern, stating that the attack was a "terrible thing". Elon Musk has also weighed in on the attack, tweeting about a possible theory on Paul Pelosi's alcoholism issue having a negative effect on the attack. However, Elon has deleted that tweet, which included a link to an article on the issue.
