On Sunday, Speaker Kevin McCarthy said he thinks he can come to an agreement with President Biden regarding the debt ceiling, despite the Biden Administration's assertions that they wouldn't consult with House Republicans on the issue.
In a conversation with CBS, Kevin McCarthy stated, "I think the president will be willing to make an agreement together".
Biden and McCarthy are set to meet on Wednesday to discuss more about the debt ceiling.
