The Supreme Court of The United States issued two decisions on Friday. One, to put an end to Biden's 'wasteful' student loan forgiveness plan, and secondly to acknowledge the rights of a Christian web designer who refused to create same-sex marriage sites, in a separate Colorado case. The court's decisions settled on a 6-3 vote basis.
Biden reacted to the court's decision, calling it "unthinkable" and saying that the "fight is not over". He also said the court's decision on Friday was "wrong".
The student loan forgiveness program offered up to $20,000 debt cancellation to tens of millions of borrowers which in many ways would have been 'unbearable' in terms of U.S. national debt, and monetary value.
Biden is yet to announce his future plans after saying he has "more to announce" in an address to the nation.
