Sam Bankman-Fried Released On $250 Million Bond With Conditions In FTX Case

On Thursday, Sam Bankman-Fried was officially released on a $250 million bond after appearing in U.S. court to face several fraud charges over the collapse of FTX. 

Sam appeared before a magistrate judge for the bail hearing in Manhattan Federal Court. He was granted his bail and is expected to live in Palo Alto, California with his parents until further notice. Sam will be placed under electronic monitoring, including a bracelet that will be placed on him before being discharged from court.

Sam Bankman-Fried was required to surrender his passport as well as being put under mental health treatment. Any $1000+ expense will require government approval prior to taking place.
