After a regional march towards the Russian capital Friday-Saturday, PMC Wager mercenaries halt movements in Russia as Belarusian President Lukashenko brokers a deal with Wagner Chief, Prigozhin.
Russian media reported that Moscow has dropped all criminal charges against Wagner Chief, Yevgeny Viktorovich Prigozhin. The leader said that he ordered his forces to return to their bases after the armed revolt. The chief said he ordered to retreat to avoid bloodshed, in a Telegram post.
On Friday, Prigozhin accused Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu of ordering a strike on Wagner camps in Ukraine, vowing to punish the leaders who destroyed "our lads".
The Wagner Chief has said they his forces will stand down after allegedly accepting the truce brokered by Belarus.
