A mass shooting in Philadelphia's southwest Kingsessing on Monday evening leaves 5 people dead, and at least 2 injured.
The suspect was allegedly wore a ballistic vest, had multiple magazines, and was armed with an "AR-type rifle". The shooting began at approximately 8:30 p.m. local time.
Several children were among those injured by the rampage, including a 2-year-old and a 13-year-old, both of whom survived.
According to various reports, the suspect was chased while firing at officers and eventually corned in the back of an alley on Frazer St, where he was then taken into custody.
The motive for the shooting is not yet known.
