Google Introduces 'Bard A.I.' In Response To Rapidly-Growing Chat GPT

On Monday, Google announced an A.I. chatbot application called 'Bard A.I.' which the company plans to roll out in coming weeks. Bard is expected to create a rivalry between ChatGPT, an OpenAI application which took the tech world by storm.

Google is expected to test Bard with 'trusted testers' before opening it to the public eye.

Google CEO Sundar Pichai stated that the application will be formatted in an "easy-to-digest" manner so users can "quickly understand the bigger picture and learn more from the web".

The company said that Bard will be able to simplify complex topics. For example, Bard will be able to inform 9-year-olds on new discoveries made by NASA's J.W. Space Telescope in an easy-to-grasp manner.

The company reiterated on Monday that the application will be rigorously tested before open to the public.
