Fox News Settles Defamation Lawsuit For $787.5 Million With Dominion

On Tuesday, Fox News & Dominion Voting Services reached a $787.5 million agreement over voting fraud accusations, narrowly avoiding a trial.

Dominion CEO stated that "Fox has admitted to telling lies", during a conference after the settlement.

Fox News said in a statement, that hopefully, the settlement "allows the country to move forward from these issues".

In 2021, Dominion sued Fox News for $1.6 billion in "damages". They claimed that Fox News broadcasted baseless claims that Dominion's voting machines "rigged" the 2020 presidential election.

The settlement ends a monthlong legal battle over election theories.
