Jill Biden, will undergo medical surgery next week to have a minor lesion above her right eye removed.
The lesion was detected during a skin routine cancer screening process which helped identify the lesion.
Doctors recommend that the lesion be removed from Jill in an "abundance of caution" after she returns from St. Croix.
