At Least 39 Dead & Over 110 Injured In Pakistan After Explosion Tears Through Political Event

At least 39 dead and over 110 injured after an explosion blasts through a political event gathering in northwestern Pakistan.

Local authorities suspected that the explosion was a suicide bomb. The explosion allegedly targeted members of the Jamiat Ulema -e-Islam Fazl party who held a meeting in the town of Khar, near the border of Afghanistan. 

The leader of the party, Maulana Rehman, expressed "deep sorrow" following the incident.
