Air Quality Concerns Remain In The U.S. As Canadian Wildfire Smoke Spreads Across The East Coast

Smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to swarm eastern states in the U.S. as 'hazardous' air quality raises concern.

Health officials warn people to scale-back on time outdoors and avoid outdoor events. Flights and sporting events get cancelled and/or postponed due to poor visibility and safety concerns.

The Federal Aviation Administration issues a ground stop Thursday on all flight bound for NYC's LaGuardia Airport due to poor visibility.

Forecast maps show that the smoke is drifting south and conditions are excepted to get better in the Northeast and worsen Southeastern regions.
