8 Killed In Texas After Car Plows Into A Crowd Near A Migrant Shelter

On Sunday, a driver plowed into a crowd outside of a border-town shelter which was housing migrants in Brownsville, Texas.

Eight people were confirmed dead, with nearly a dozen injured from the incident. Texas authorities say that they received a call that a Range Rover had run into a crowd of people waiting at a bus stop across from a non-profit shelter.

The driver was identified as a Hispanic man which was said to be uncooperative with police.

Brownsville, is located at the southern tip of Texas, with a majority Hispanic/Latino population.
