On Wednesday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky meets with Joe Biden in the Oval Office to discuss the on-going conflict with Russia.
During their time together, the two leaders discuss U.S. aid and other military-related topics regarding Ukraine's current conditions.
The U.S. has militarily supported Ukraine with over $50 billion in aid with another $45 billion in new aid impending approval. With U.S. national debt increasing, Zelensky criticizes U.S. aid, stating that the President's support is "Not enough" and that "War is not over". The U.S. is supplying Ukraine with some of the world's finest artillery, including new U.S. Patriot ordnances which are known for being very capable.
During a face to face conversation, Biden tells Zelensky that the U.S. seeks "Just peace". Additionally, Biden applauded Ukrainians for their "unbreakable determination" and their "strong stand against aggression".
Meanwhile, Putin announces unlimited spending for the Russian military, stating that the government will provide the Russian military with "everything it asks for".
