A helicopter carrying Ukrainian officials crashed Wednesday in a Kyiv suburb, causing damage to a school and a residential tower.
Ukraine's Minister of Internal Affairs, Yevhen Yenin, was among the 14 that were killed, along with many other wartime leaders such as the State Secretary. A child was also among the several killed, most likely because the crash occurred during school transition hours.
At the World Economic Forum in Davos, Volodymyr Zelensky called for a moment of silence to honor the life of those that were lost during the tragedy.
