Russia Ordered To Recruit 137,000 More Troops After Mass Casualties In Ukraine

On Thursday, Vladimir Putin ordered 137,000 more troops to be recruited to a total of 1.15 million servicemen as many casualties are reported from Ukraine.  

Kremlin has announced that only volunteer soldiers will be recruited, rejecting claims that men were being forcefully recruited. 

All Russian men between the ages of 18-27 must serve one year in the military. Many men avoid the draft in Moscow and they have not faced any consequence as of now. 

Russia has announced that more servicemen will increased the readiness of of the military.
