Poland is set to send four MI-29 Fighter Jets to Ukraine, Polish President Andrzej Duda announced on Thursday.
The Warsaw pact has taken a lead among NATO allies in providing Ukraine with heavy-duty weapons. President Duda added that the MI fighter jets are "still operating in the defense of Polish airspace".
During the press conference in Warsaw, Czech counterpart Petr Pavel and Duda expressed their joint-contributions to Ukraine. Duda said that Poland and The Czech Republic are ready to support Ukraine at "humanitarian and military levels".
