Bill Russell, 11-Time NBA Champion, Dies At 88

Bill Russell, whose athleticism propelled the Boston Celtics to win 11 championships and was one of the first black coach in major sports has died at 88, on Sunday.

His death was announced by his family on Sunday without specification on his place of death. 

Bill Russell, who was knows for quickness and agility even at a towering height of 6'10", has revolutionized the center position and unleashed center capabilities.
