Stocks Fall As CEOs Speak Skeptically About Economy

Top CEOs show skepticism about the economy as the end of 2022 nears.

Stocks tumble on Tuesday with the S&P down 1.44%, Dow down 1.03%, and the Nasdaq down 2.00%.

Four top CEOs speak negatively about the economy, resulting in a sell-off in today's market.

Walmart CEO Doug McMillon told CNBC that consumers were feeling the pinch of inflation. JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon said there could be a "mild to hard recession" due to the Federal Reserve rate hikes.

Goldman Sachs CEO has also hinted at "bumpy times ahead" when asked about short-term economic conditions.
