Federal prosecutors announced Thursday that FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried will face four new criminal charges after being accused of snatching billion(s) of dollars from investors while portraying himself as the "savior" of the crypto industry.
Four new charges, two of them being security and conspiracy fraud, were unveiled in Manhattan federal court.
In a statement, U.S. Attorney Damian Williams said, "We are hard at work and will remain so until justice is done.".
